How many degrees is the angle of refraction and the angle of incidence?
Q. How many degrees is the angle of refraction and the angle of incidence?
Asked by SS - Sun May 17 18:56:55 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The angle of incidence can be anything from 0 ( hitting straight on )to 90 ( just glancing the surface ). The angle of refraction depends on the angle of incidence ( and the wave speeds in the pair of media being considered.)

How do you relate the incidence of June,1914 in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia to the event of Sept.11 1991 ?
Q. Most diplomatic crises are often triggered by an incidence that can have severe consequences. Can we then say,the lessons of 1914 ware forgotten when decision was taken after the event of Sept.11 in the US
Asked by Mati M - Sun Oct 26 04:03:54 2008 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The June 1914 incident was the assassination of an Austrian person. This minor assasination was used as an excuse by empires to get more land. 9/11 was also the deaths of innocents, carried out by extremists. It has been used by the US to control the Middle East. Both have resulted in massive loss of life, for a cause that is becoming or had become increasingly irrevelant.

What is the maximum angle of Incidence?
Q. A fish tank filled with water is made of flat glass walls of n = 1.54. What is the maximum angle of incidence for a light ray within the water to strike the glass wall and still emerge to the outside air?
Asked by Ang_Lg - Wed Apr 15 13:18:19 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. you are asking what is the "critical angle"... sin(theta_crit) = n2/n1 's_law index of refraction of water = 1.333 index of refraction of glass = 1.54 (given) plug and play cheers
