How would 4-credit courses transfer to a college where the courses are only 3 credits?
Q. If a 4-credit course has a corresponding course at a second college which is only 3 credits, how would the 4-credit course be transferred? Would one credit be dropped for each transferred 4-credit course?

A. Are you on quarters or semesters? Where I go they check to see if the class you have taken is 70% compliant with the class the university offers... they then give you credit as if you have taken that class. So if I took a 3 credit class at a semester school and transfer then they would look to find a class they offer that matches the class I took and give me credit for that, which would be a 5 credit class on the quarter system, and vice verse. Bottom line they are gonna find what class they offer and give you credit for that if it matches the curriculum of that class. So it would vary school by school.

What time should i switch from 4 feedings a day to three feedings a day?
Q. I have three baby green cheek conures that i have been handfeeding. The oldest one is now 5 weeks old and the youngest 4 weeks old. They are being hand fed 4 times a day. I have been trying to switch to 3 already but they start to cry before it is time for feeding again and their crops empty like two ours before the due time. A. Yes, that will be just fine. If you can, switch the top chicken breasts with the bottom ones halfway through cooking, and that will really make a difference.

A. He could be going through a growth spurt, so he won't eat as much. As long as he is gaining weight, then you're fine. I can't remember how much to give them when they're this little, but you can put it in the bottle. The directions should give an amount for how little he his. Good luck!

Do the 4 years you do at the service academies count towards your years in the service?
Q. Just trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I got accepted into West Point and I am trying to figure out if the 4 years at West Point count as years in the service. I know there is a 5 year required service afterwards. Does this mean that after my 5 required years I actually have 9 years in the service? Thanks for the input, that means if i were to do 20 years, it would start when I am 22 or so, not when I join the Academy.

A. Maybe try keeping her up a bit later and not waking her up to feed at 11. Try putting her down for the night at 10 and she may wake a 4 for a feeding, then prolong the feeding by 10 - 15 minutes and eventually she will sleep through the night. I did this with both of my daughters and now they both go to bed at 8 and wake at 8:00am. Our daughter would wake and we would try rocking her back to sleep - as this allowed us to prolong the feed. It is best to try this on the weekend as you may be a up and down a lot on the first few nights until she settles into a routine. I am not suggesting that you starve your child (in case anyone thinks that), I am only suggesting that you try to calm or sooth your baby back to sleep by other methods… [cont.]

A. The older one is used to being the only dog. He is confused or thinks that the puppy is there to take his palce. Show your older dog more affection and attention. If you show him that you still love him and that the puppy isn't there to take his place, he should do better. Puppies need alot more attention and are so cute. Your older dog may feel left out. Try taking both dogs out in the yard. Play with your older dog and show him that he can show the younger one the ropes so to speak. That will give your older dog a reason to warm up to the younger one. Good luck. Hope this helps.

A. It depends on the baby. All babies are different. Mine started sleeping better after 4 weeks old. By 2 months he was going about 4 hours at night and by 4 months he was sleeping through the night. But, that's just my baby. I know some babies who are a year who still wake up every 2 - 3 hours during the night. One tip that you can try is to try to extend her daytime feedings to every 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Don't go over 3 - 4 hours between feedings. By extending the daytime feedings, it helps them to see that they can fast at night. Also don't let her take too many naps, or too long of naps, during the day. A. It's probably caused by the change in diet - but if smells foul then she may have an infection and would need to see the doctor. Keep paying attention to the smell and color and if anything gets weird then call her doctor. But it is normal for things like that to change - she is getting older and will be eating more food, so the smell, color and texture of urine and stools will change.

You will feel chaos right from the beginning of January (and actually things start happening in December, but not as intense) because audits of inventory begin. How do I hook up a 4 gauge wire to a terminal on an Alpine amp?
Q. My amp kicks 500w. I have a wiring kit that came with a 4 gauge wire for positive and ground terminals. The wire holds over 1000w, however the 4g is tooo big for the terminal. Any suggestions I could do with the wire to make it fit? If not, should I get a 8 gauge wire instead of 4? Also, if I split the wire and only use a minority of it in the terminal, will it still power correctly and work?

A. get a reducer. or make one your self.. get a terminal connector and cut one of the two prongs.. then just hook it up to the amp.. if your amp has a terminal with the allen screw then all you do is peel off the wire and unbraid it, cut off half of it and it'll be reduced..since your wire might be too thick make sure there is no bare wire touching the negative terminal on your amp..electrical tape can help..
